GEEKY CONTINUUM

Few hours after the cycling trip, barney wanted to fly a kite.....literally. Well he said he has a kite at home which he's dying to let it fly and he has never flown a kite before. So what the heck, i helped him but the wind wasn't consistent and our kite kept flying up and down.

One time the kite flew so high that we ran out of strings and it flew away....hahahaha...hilarious....we had to run to catch it cause the park was quite close to the sea and we're afarid it might land in the sea instead......lol.

So after 10 minutes of flying i told him that flying a kite is fun only when you're trying to let it fly....but once its flown, it will get pretty boring...hahahahah....and he agrees......lol.....

So weird....to think that i was so paranoid one day and the next day im all happy again.
well, cycling cheered me up cause i get to cycle as fast as i want and no one can tell me not to.....unless the authority tells me not too la....duh!.....hahaha....

I cycled with barney, it was his idea to cycle early in the morning.....
initial idea planned at his house was to jog in the morning but somehow when he met me at my block...i was just with my running attires and sport shoes.....he on the other hand had his bicycle......grrrr......i had to run up 7 floor to get my bike ready with all the tires pumped up.....soooo tiring la!

Anyway we cycled at the near by west coast park and had the most funniest thing happened. He challenged me to see who would be the fastest rider.......at first i didn't want to... but when he was infront of me so i over took him so fast and left him behind.....but he managed to catch up with me......soon after about 200m both of us were panting like crazy...hahahaha....i told him we have the stamina of a 60 year old....LOL....i mean we dash for less than 1km and we were out of energy...hahaha...need to cycle more!

After cycling a few rounds, we decided to get out of west coast park and i suggested we go to Kent ridge park to see the view from the top.....he hasn't been there so i brought him there.
BAAAAAAAD IDEA!!! The hills were soooo steep we can't even cycle.......we had to push our bikes up the hill.

But we managed to get up there soon after and the view was amazing......the park was very creepy and quiet though but there are still some visitors there too. We sat and had our "Mature" talk about everything under the sky........very interesting opportunity to know a person...cause i've known him for just about 1 semester and i think most of my classmate doesn't know the other side of him as much as i just got to know him.

Now after that long talk....my perception of him changed......for the good.....we see him as goofy barney but there is so much you need to know......thanks for sharing bro!

He is now officially my appointed listener for all topics including guy's problems whereas his scandal gf.....malini....hahaha kidding.....is another appointed listener for general topics....hehehehe.

For those who wants to see the real view of kent ridge park...don't forget to take the canopy walk....it is veeeeery scary and high but the view is amazing! We wanted to visit the museum at Bukit Chandu but it wasn't free so we turned back and cycled home.

It was such a fun day!

Next target: Cycle to the southern most part of south east asia.......S E N T O S A !
