12/10/2007 11:16:00 PM I think i just got hooked on a new show which hasn't been played here. I have to do some weird settings on my internet browser just to watch this show since they banned streaming from outside US. The show is called "KID NATION". Its a reality show whereby they put 40 kids for 40 days from 8 year olds to 15 year olds and have them run an abandon town (Bonanza City, New mexico) in the middle of the desert. These kids are lead by 4 council members which acts like the ministers and they are divided by 4 colors with each council members representing them as their district leader.

With no adult running the town, each district have to earn their role in the town every 3 days, which also comes with a salary tag on that specific role. They do this by doing a challenge which make them compete betweens different districts.

The Upper Class earns $1 (Can do what they want), The Merchant earns 50cents (Sell stuff), The cooks earns 25 cents (do i need to explain?) and The Laborers earns 10cents (take water and clean toilets). Also, any kid who performs the best within the 3 days regardless of your role in the town wins a golden star which is worth $20,000.

I have no idea why channel 5 hasn't played this shows cause this show is soooooo much better than survivor: china.....

Anyway, now at least i have something to do during the holidays besides FYP. I just completed episode 1 & 2....watching each episode is a horror cause im not using direct connection to the site and its dependent on a US local server so it needs a fast connection to watch it smoothly (you guys wouldn't understand.....its IT stuff)
