GEEKY CONTINUUM

11/10/2007 06:24:00 PM I can't believe i spent almost 1 hr 45 mins to get to East Coast from Woodlands just for a bbq. From woodlands i took 168 which has gotta be the bus bus ride EVER cose its all expressway until tampines. Then took 196 from bedok which was quite okay cause im quite familiar with it but the worst is the walk from Marine Cove to the BBQ pit.

The usual underpass gets you to pit 20+ but the BBQ pit that im suppose to go is at pit 55....yes 55!! thats a bloody 35 pits away......arrrrrr......i soon realized how far it was when after walking for almost 10 mins starts to kick in. Too bad Aloysious had to endure my complains till we reached the BBQ pit...lol.

Anyway, it was just a small gathering of friends. The food was alrite...the usual stuff and surprisingly Shikin aka "Miss OH IM SO NOT GOING TO BE A HOUSEWIVE" grilled most of the chicken. But to what i expect the end result to be....it came true. Most of the chickens that she cooked are covered with carbon.....LOL........i think aloy is gonna die from cancer after eating so many chickens that shikin cooked.....FYI he ate the most......Woahahaha.

The journey home isn't better than the journey to east coast...its much horrible....we had to wait for the bus like 15 mins, it rained and we smell like burned chicken....my gosh! I reached home like almost 11.30pm and that cold shower felt sooo good...ahh...

Im getting a new phone tomorrow!!!
Im probably not getting the exact phone that i wanted cause it cost too much and since im going to NS next year...it defeats the purpose of getting an expensive phone.....furthermore i have to spent on another bloody non-camera phone for NS and IT show.....so watch out for tomorrow's entry....it might be a Nokia.......or Sony Ericsson......or perhaps the trusty Motorola.....hehehe can't wait to dump my current motorola!
