GEEKY CONTINUUM

8/04/2007 11:46:00 PM Went out with Kim to look for my presentation clothes. We went to Vivo to look but couldn't decide which to get as there is so many retailers having the great Singapore sale. In the end we settle for G2000 cose they're having 70% sale but their wide range of formal attire got me so confused that i couldn't decide which shade of colors i should wear or which stripes look nicer.....grrr...

After roughly about 1 hour or so, i got a called from Nora which kinda odd for her to be calling me and asking me whether i would like to go for the NDP rehearsal as she got two extra tickets from her cousin. Initially i couldn't really decide whether to go or not, but kim said why not...therefore we decided to go for it. Supposedly both nora and me decided to meet at suntec at 4, but kim and me arrived at suntec at 3.30.....so we thought its okay cose 30mins wouldn't be that long.......boy did it turn bad!....nora came at 4.30.....grr!!!! .....

So me and kim rushed to grab some quick dinner and met up with nora again afterwards for NDP. On the way to NDP i saw Michael, my ex-secondary school classmate...haha he looked so different and i've not seen him for almost 3-4 years and out of all people kim recognize him first instead of me .....im glad he's doing alrite and serving the nation.

NDP was quite okay i guess, nice view and its not as hot as the stadium. All of us were sort of excited to be there until we're realize that everything there were simulated including the ministers and NO FIREWORK....arrrrr......we didn't stay for the whole show but at least we got to see the helicopters and stuff which are kinda cool. Marina square was so crowded with spectators waiting to see the fireworks....hahahaha....but we know that there wouldn't be any and all of us laughed when we thought of bursting their bubble by telling them that they would be wasting their time sitting and waiting....lol....can't they get a clue to why there are so many people leaving the NDP? .....hahaha.....it was a great and tiring day and i still HAVE NOT PURCHASE my formal shirt.....but i did get a great price for a casual trousers from G2000, usual price $59.90....i bought it for $29.50....woooho!
