After much pestering and numerous calls from me...i finally managed to get my new LAPPY from ishop

The minute i call one of the salesman he said that the laptop have not arrive and i asked him, "If you guys are out of stock, how come is the shop having a promotion of the same exact laptop that i wanted!"

He then said that he isn't on duty today but will help me ask the manager. He asked me to give him till Monday as he will try to call up Apple and ask. So i thought fine...i'll wait till monday and thats it!

A few minutes later, he called me again "The stock came in Last Night and i've managed to get one for you but the management have a policy of first come first basis, so you have to get there quick and one of my collegue Mr. XXX will assist you"

The minute he put down the phone, i ran to the bathroom and showered quickly.

Took a cab which cost me bloody $9....the stoopid cab driver took the long route!! argh!!

Reached there and the shop was crowded with customers and there i go searching around and asking the people there for Mr. XXX. Found him and he did my transaction easily and collected my hardware.

Filled-in a couple of forms for the membership card and paid the balance amount. Sat down on this awfully low chair and did a couple of settings for me.

But i saw something weird abt the lappy. There is like a small (1-2mm) gap near the cd drive and the side ports. I was quite worried abt it and asked the person if it was a normal thing. He said that it was normal and he would take another lappy to compare. But soon he saw that the defect was infact unusual and asked his manager for opinion.

The manager suggest for a 1 on 1 exchange which i thought of it too...
The manager said: "If i were you, i wouldn't take it either"
Hahahahaha he read my mind :D
I mean who on earth would take a damaged product after paying thousand of dollars for it?
Yay-ness ......i got to exchange for a better one without defects!!

The whole process took abt 1 hr...with the waiting, exchanging and transaction.

Went home straight without delay....thought of taking the cab home cose everywhere is so crowded but took the train instead....hahahaha..BAD IDEA!... it is so weird carrying a laptop box around orchard as ppl kept staring at you even in the train!...lol...

Came home, rip it open and did lots of settings, transfer all my songs and pictures to the mac and voila....everything is so simple!
