GEEKY CONTINUUM

8/28/2006 05:02:00 PM Been busy lately especially with WeBlog stuff. Still preparing for my workshop ppt together with Aisyah and Nora. We're giving Video Editing Workshop for the year 1 camp which is in 2-3 weeks time and in total, aisyah and myself have 47 slides...that excludes Nora's which im still waiting patiently. This is truly my first and probably it will grow more than 47 slides. The club has allocate us 1 hr 45 mins for our workshop :S OMG! hahaha that is very long...longer than most standard hollywood films...haha.

Prove of work....thats 48 slides....i predict 60 slides during final day.

So many stuff need to be done by this month or else im dead. Especially my Professional Profiling..i got the approval a few days ago and i promise my interviewee that im gonna send him my questions after my proposal have been approved but i've forgotten to do so...crap!!

I still have other SLAs under my belt and my fav. Softball have been very quiet lately!! arr....i want softball practice!!. WeBlog and Guitar have been keeping me quite busy lately and im not complaining. As usual Rotaract still driving me nuts....no surprise there!....and i already spending my entire holidays in school till quite late. I don't mind doing volunteery work on weekdays but I've told them BILLIONS of time im not free on weekend. Weekend is for me to relax and finish up on stuff which is far more important and incomplete...like Professional Profiling which is ticking every single second. I'm still doing the template for the website and its only 40% complete and my goal is the end of september...so how?!...i need to complete this too!

PS: I will not attend any meetings which is held on Weekends and Informed 8 hrs beforehand...i mean didn't we agree that we should be informed 1 week beforehand? Don't call me like 11.30 pm at nite when im about to sleep and tell me to come for meeting the next morning....that's crazy! Im not pointing fingers at anybody but i noe some of you guys are just doing ur duty but please do it reasonably.....I will respect your time if you respect mine.

For guitar, i have been practicing hard. The last practice, i even sat alone practicing non-stop, trying to make myself memorize all the correct cords and fingering. It seems to work though cose i still remember all the cords but i just cant change cords that fast....arrrr!!! toopid fingers! haha

Something weird happened to me a few days back, i was sleeping and i dreamt abt withdrawing some cash at the ATM and somehow i couldn't remember my PIN no. .......i panicked and woke up. I started to recall my pin no. .....mind you that i woke up at 4 am in the morning thinking abt my pin no. I couldn't recall it, i started to come up with random combination numbers and who knows i might recall 'em. Think think think and i've only recalled 3 numbers.....soon i gave up and went back to sleep.

Woke up later and started thinking, even when im showering and still no luck. Then while surfing somehow a combination number pop up in my mind and muahahahah its my pin no. .....thank god! or else i've to call up the bank and wait for them to reset it.

Nelly Furtado's Loose album:

Overall: 4 out of 5 Stars

Comment: Would recommend this album to those who really love RnB & Pop music. Not all tracks are in English. Some are in Portuguese & Spanish (She's a portuguese descendant fyi)

Fav. Tracks: Promiscuous & Te Busque (feat. Juanes). No idea what Te Busque means but it's certainly nice to listen to.

FYI: Some of the track sounded A LITTLE bit different from the music video esp. Maneater (album version is nicer). The album has a short extended to it.

Jack Johnson's In between dream album:

Overall: 4.5 out of 5

Comment: Very very laid back album. You'll feel like ure having a vacation in the Bahamas. Very soothing voice and music. Uses lots of acoustic guitar in the music...which is good!.

Fav. Track: Crying Shame & Sitting, Waiting, Wishing.

FYI: You might have seen his mv b4, one of it is the Curious George's OST, Upside down.

PS: Go watch his Sitting, Waiting, Wishing music video.....very cool!!
