4/05/2005 04:12:00 PM YAY!! finally i have decided and bought a new laptop for my sch use which begin next week. I went to Sim Lim Square yesterday in the noon and i was there for about 3 hrs just walking and trying to decide what laptop to buy. After the long hours of walking, i decided to go to funan IT mall where most of the offical retailers are located. So as i walk i saw this one particular laptop by Acer and i was so amazed by its size and thickness. Believe it or not the laptop is only 1.5 cm thick on the front and 2 cm thick at the back.....amazing.....and it is only 2.1kg light for a 14 inch screen.....im still amazed by it. It got Bluetooth, Intel Centrino and Powerful Graphic card by ATI. I haven't tried playing any games on it but i guess i won't, cose i believe a laptop is not a gaming machine and by not doing so , im able to prolong its life time :D so happy, this is a money well spent for me. Besides buying the laptop , i got a chance to participate in the ACER prize giveaway which gives out a Lexmark 3 in 1 printer , a olympus digital camera or a Canon camcorder. So there i was putting my hand in a box to pick out a card, in my mind i was hoping i would win anything.....i took out the card and scratch it with my 10cent coin which happened to be in my pocket. As i scratch a small portion of the card, i saw the word "Congratulation" ....and i was so excited to scratch it all off ....and i won a PRINTER.....yay!!! hahaha actually anione who scratch it are a definate winner hehehe so its realli not abt luck :P Then the problem began, me with my laptop bag on my right shoulder and on my left hand is the HEAVY lexmark printer. I then decided to take a cab home cose it wouldnt be possible to take everything home by bus and it would be embarassing for me to take the MRT home either.
