3/19/2005 12:32:00 AM Well, todae i was bored, so i decided to watch 2 of the current hottest movies to watched. I went to watched it alone by myself, though its weird but i like it :D

So the two hottest movie currently in cinemas are: Lemony Snickets; A series of unfortunate events and ROBOTS

Hmmm....Lemony Snickets.......when you hear and watched the trailer, u expect it to be a funny (cose Jim Carrey is in) and an adventurous family movie, well you're right abt the second one but dun expect it to be funny. Overall it was a cute movie but if it was to be in par with Harry Potter, it will definately lose by far. But it wasn't all bad, Jim Carrey is super talented and a master of disguise but his performance was just OKAY... and the little girl Sunny is so adorable. Though i wanted to exit the cinema during in the middle of the show cose it was getting boring and the cinema was full of children munching and talking, i would definately give it a 3 out of 5 stars. This is the kind of movie where u don want to watch it twice but you would definately love to keep the dvd and watch it when u're have time to kill.

Pros: Cute family movie, great casting of actors, a UNIQUE and ORIGINAL story line
Cons: Below expectations and abit boring

Next, i watched ROBOTS, i've got doubt before buying it cose im afraid it might be a bad animated movie like "Spongebob" and the movie rating for "In good company" was just too good to miss. But oh well, why not give it a shot. The movie started out to be mildly funny but later on it began to build up as it makes me wanna laugh out loud in the cinema with the other audiences. Some jokes made you think before you laugh, but it certainly made me smile from ear to ear just by watching their actions. I personally think Robin Williams lending his voice for the animated character is perfect, as he made me laugh countless of time. Overall i think the voice over from the actors suit them nicely but not perfectly. I've found Amanda Bynes lending her voice for a character in the film abit odd cose it doesn't seems to fit her animated character. But i've certainly recommend watching it with ur frens or siblings and this movie is certainly a must buy for the dvd edition. It's a 4 out of 5 star movie and if it was to be par with other animated movies it would still be in top 3

ROBOTS

Pros: Funny, unique and cute animated characters and worth every cents
Cons: Predictable story line ( good over evil)
