Wow time does pass rather quickly, don't you think so? Argh , sorry for not writing for almost a month. I was just to occupied and tired to type about my days. Well last week i celebrated my 18th birthday together with my 2 other cousins who is 19 and 13 , our birthdate is just couple of days apart so we decided to celebrate it together at the nearby park. Everything went fine but it had to end so quickly. It started with black clouds passing up in the sky , my cousin convinced me that its not going to rain and we're gonna have a great time there. Well for once, i was quite convinced with his prediction because the sun started to shine again and the black clouds just went away. Eventually his prediction didn't last that long and my apprehensive feeling towards the weather was right. Black clouds from the south started moving towards the park and every single minute, the sky grew darker. It didn't stopped me with my 6 other cousins from playing frisbee on the sand eventhough lightning can be seen far off the sea, i noe its kinda dangerous but i had my way to prevent lightning from aiming me and my way is to squad myself down ....haha isn it funny? :) . We had to stopped as people around us started to make their move towards the shelter near by . Since the bbq at the park doesnt have its own shelter , my dad came with a tent . Couple of my guy cousins decided to set up the tent on a grass patch few metres away from the bbq pit. We had to rush as rain droplets started to fell on us, thankgoodness the tent was easy to setup but as soon as the 4 corners of the tent was brought up, rain started to pour heavily on us . Well we manged to complete at least 95% and we thought it was as stable as a rock but we're wrong. When all of us we're in the tent including our moms it started to feel a little crowded and it was stuffy inside, besides that the wind was blowing so strong and our tent started to collapse so some of us guys had to stand and hold the four corners of the tent from falling. Let me tell u , never set a tent on a grass patch especially when u're sheltering from the rain , its a bad idea and if u wanna noe why? tried it urself and u'll noe :P
Argh , its been and hour and the rain just kept pouring non-stop and i just want to get out of the tent but eventually it began to subside and we made another shelter on the bbq pit using kanvas and some strings which my dad brought with him. I was dissapointed with the rain and the fact that my sis promise me a cake which she and her cake couldn't make it to the bbq as she is working!! :S Well we continue barbeque-ing a little and stared to pack everything as tomorrow is school day for some of them and another working day for me. I was exhausted when i reached home but managed to check my mails and had a bath and went to sleep after that so that im refreshed for work tomorrow and which i will try to share with u tomorrow :P
Good nite and Happy 18th birthday to me!! :)
wohoo i can watch R18 movies ahahahah
Sincerely me
Lesson learned: Never pitch a tent on a flat grass patch especially if its pouring rain
